When the gaze turned towards the near window,a tear welled down from my red burning swollen eye. I was completely tired of this academic and societal pressure. The expectations from people which were never expected. And the changes which turned my positive and cheerful attitude into this pessimistic crying sad monster.'It was all your fault', heart screamed. The last 7 months just flashed down from my mind.
Yes, I'm Jay Mehra. Recently passed my Hsc examination with distinction. I was overjoyed with my marks specially the accounts. Accounts was the only subject who thrived for my attention. Also as they say, our mind is always attracted to the subjects, matters, challenges and ofcourse people which are comparatively tougher than easy. It's the basic human tendency stated in our human psychology. So there were two things which I was attracted to:- Accounts and that girl in the corridor.Talking about that graceful girl which I saw in our college corridor. Also we exchanged glances near the canteen, but it seemed too casual for her, like a accident. For me it lasted for many seconds also it got issued deeply in my heart. In addition, I don't even know her name, this was pretty sad. I slept thinking of her gracefulness and woke up with her charm.
Speaking about my career, I chose to pursue CA(Chartered Accountant)course. Alongside I was pursuing BAF course as a supplementary degree in the Vishwakarma Institute of Business & Finance. I realised that i have developed interest in this commerce subjects. I enrolled myself for the upcoming CA Foundation exam(1st exam of CA course) in the September. Also joined coaching near the college which was far more than convenient for me. I started the course with great focus and concentration.
Finally, introducing my family. Veer my younger brother studying in class 10th, my mom Jaspreet the only owner of Jayveer Wellness and Yoga studio , lastly talking about my dad who's a criminal lawyer. Spent my childhood in Bathinda,Punjab. Further we got transferred in Mumbai, as my mumma opened her new big branch in Mumbai, which was a centre of attention for many yoga freaks. That's all about my family.
Coming back to the girl in my college! that's more important guyss. I rarely used to come college for the project/assignment submissions,viva.internals,exams.And spent rest of my hours at the home , hardly studying but reminiscing her small details. So rather than that now I decided to go to college.
Entered the classroom. Someone screamed the name 'Mishti' in my ears. I looked back with the rage and looked in the direction where the name was received. A delightful surprise. OMG! the cantten and corridor girl is from my class. I quickly dropped my gaze to avoid any eye contact with her. "Miss Mishti", I smiled. So now I can have more chances to catch up with her. Maybe we can date. Grow together.Start a family. A last look of her will make my day, saying so,I looked directly on my left side, laughing slowly.
