I AM VIRAL
Aaradhya, or Arya as she liked to be called, was the apple of her parents' eyes. Born into a wealthy family, she was pampered and spoiled from a young age. Her every whim was catered to, and she was given the best of everything. But despite having it all, Arya craved something more – fame.
From childhood, Arya dreamed of being a celebrity. She would spend hours watching TV, admiring the stars, and wishing she could be one of them. As she grew older, her desire for fame only intensified. She would often browse social media, feeling envious of the influencers and celebrities who seemed to have it all.
But Arya's parents were strict, and they disapproved of her desire for fame. They wanted her to focus on her studies and lead a normal life. So, Arya kept her dreams hidden, secretly searching for ways to become famous without her parents' knowledge.
One day, while browsing Telegram, Arya stumbled upon an anonymous user who promised to make her viral. The user, who went by the name "ViralVicky," claimed to have the secrets to making anyone famous. Arya was skeptical at first, but her desire for fame clouded her judgment. She began chatting with ViralVicky, who seemed to know exactly what to say to make her feel special.
At first, ViralVicky's requests were simple. He asked Arya to post certain pictures or videos, which she did without hesitation. But as time went on, his requests became more and more disturbing. He asked her to post revealing pictures, to use certain hashtags, and to engage in online arguments. Arya was uncomfortable, but she felt trapped. She had already gone too far, and she didn't know how to stop.
Arya's younger brother, Aarav, had no idea what was going on. He looked up to his sister, and he had no idea that she was struggling with such dark forces. Their parents were oblivious too, thinking that Arya was just a normal teenager.
But as ViralVicky's requests became more and more threatening, Arya realized that she had made a terrible mistake. She tried to refuse, but ViralVicky wouldn't let her go. He threatened to release her pictures and videos to the world, and Arya was terrified.
One day, Arya found the courage to refuse ViralVicky's requests once and for all. But it was too late. ViralVicky released her pictures and videos, and Arya became viral overnight. But it wasn't the kind of fame she had wanted. She was ridiculed and shamed online, and she couldn't bear the humiliation.
Arya's world came crashing down. She couldn't face her family, her friends, or herself. She felt like she had lost everything, and she didn't know how to get it back. In the end, the pressure became too much, and Arya took her own life.
Moral: The desire for fame and validation can be a deadly trap. It's essential to be aware of the dangers of online predators and to prioritize our mental health and well-being.
