Love at First Slight - 25

Rahul’s apartment in the U.S. Rahul and his friends—Daniel, Emily, Ravi, and Sam—are gathered for a group study session. It’s the weekend, and they’re working hard on their business case study.

Rahul: opening the door with a grin "Hey, you all made it! Sam, you’re actually on time for once."

Sam: entering with a backpack, grinning "You know I’ve got a business course to ace, Rahul. I can’t afford to be late. And don’t get too excited—I’ll be saving you guys today with my genius ideas!"

Daniel: chuckling "Genius ideas? Sam, last time you tried to ‘save’ us, you almost made the entire spreadsheet crash."

Emily: teasing "True! Sam and spreadsheets aren’t the best mix."

Ravi: grinning "Alright, alright, we’re all here to work, so let’s get to it."

---

Rahul: scrolling through the case study "Alright, we need to figure out why this company’s revenue is down. Daniel, you want to start with the financial analysis?"

Daniel: nodding "Sure. First, I’ll look at their balance sheet. If their costs are higher than their revenue, it could be a sign of inefficient spending."

Sam: interrupting "Hold on, hold on. Before we dive into the numbers, let’s look at their brand image. Maybe it’s a marketing issue."

Emily: nodding "Sam’s right. A company can have the best products, but if the brand doesn’t connect with the customers, it won’t matter. Maybe their social media game is weak."

Ravi: laughing "That’s why Sam’s here—he’s the marketing guru. But don’t forget about the supply chain. If there are production delays, that’s a problem too."

Rahul: grinning "You guys are right. Sam, you’re in charge of the marketing part. Emily, you and I will work on strategy. Daniel, you get the finances. Ravi, handle operations."

Sam: raising his hand dramatically "And I’ll make sure we create a viral campaign to get the public talking! I’m thinking something quirky, like a TikTok challenge or something wild."

Rahul: laughing "I love it. But make sure we don’t crash the company’s website like last time!"

--

---

Sam: laughing as he munches on snacks "So, Rahul, are you going to send me a ‘thank you’ card when this viral campaign saves the day? I think it’s only fair."

Rahul: laughing "You’re getting way ahead of yourself, Sam. Let’s finish this case study first, and then we’ll see about that thank you card."

Daniel: teasing "Sam, the last time you launched a campaign, it involved dancing in front of a fountain. I’m still not sure how that ‘saved’ anything."

Emily: grinning "And let’s not forget the time he thought sending a stuffed bear as a corporate gift was a good idea."

Ravi: laughing "It wasn’t the worst idea—people love cute things. Maybe we should try it for this case."

Sam: with mock seriousness "You all are just jealous of my creative genius. Just wait, this viral marketing will put us on the map. Rahul, you’ll be thanking me from the top of your corporate throne."

Rahul: chuckling "I’ll be sure to send you a throne-sized thank-you card then."

---

As the group continues working, Sam brings an unexpected but useful twist to their strategy. They all manage to create a solid business plan, balancing finances, marketing, operations, and strategy.

---

Rahul: closing his laptop "Okay, I think we’ve nailed it. This case study is ready to be submitted."

Sam: grinning "Of course, with a dash of Sam’s brilliance. You guys are welcome."

Emily: teasing "Yeah, yeah, Sam. Just don’t make the company go viral for the wrong reasons again."

Ravi: laughing "Alright, alright. We’ve all contributed. Let’s call it a success."

After doing their work..

The group of friends is sitting comfortably on a bed in their dorm room, snacks scattered around. The vibe is chill, with everyone teasing each other and having a laugh. Rahul, Sam, Ravi, and Emily are all lounging casually as they begin talking about their personal lives.

Rahul: grinning “Okay, okay, I get it. You guys are just waiting for me to spill the beans about my ‘mystery girl.’ But let’s be real, what about you guys? Anything interesting going on? I’m sure someone here has a little secret. 😏”

Sam: laughing “Rahul, tu toh bada mysterious ban raha hai. Let’s see what these two have going on. Ravi, koi secret toh bata yaar, tell us about your love life, man. 😜”

Ravi: looking around, pretending to be shy “Arre yaar, kya baat kar rahe ho? Kuch nahi hai meri life mein. I’m just focusing on my career. Aur waise bhi, who needs love when you have snacks? 🍕” grins

Emily: mocking “Oh, shut up, Ravi. You're the biggest flirt I know. You’re just trying to act all cool. Come on, tell us. We’ve all got secrets. 😏”

Ravi: smirking “Okay, fine. Don’t judge me, okay? He grabs his phone and shows them a photo. This is Neha... the girl I’ve been seeing for a few weeks. 😎”

The group goes silent for a moment, looking at the picture of a girl who seems to be smiling in a casual selfie with Ravi. She’s dressed casually but looks very pretty.

Rahul: raising an eyebrow “Wait... I didn’t know you were seeing anyone. You kept that a secret? 🤔”

Ravi: grinning “Well, I wasn’t sure if it would work out, yaar. But she’s really fun, smart... and pretty cool. We’ve been hanging out a lot lately. 😍”

Sam: laughing “Ravi, you dog! Always the smooth talker, huh? So, what’s the deal? Are you guys serious or what? 😏”

Ravi: shrugging “Serious? Haan... kind of. We're just getting to know each other. I’m not sure what the future holds, but it’s fun for now. We’re still figuring things out, you know? 😊”

Emily: teasing “Oho! Ravi the player is getting serious? I never thought I’d see the day. 😜”

Ravi: laughing “Shut up, Emily. You’ve got no room to talk. You and your perfect match nonsense. 🙄”

Emily: rolling her eyes “Oh please, I’m just waiting for the right guy. No rush. At least I’m not trying to act all cool like someone here. 😆”

Rahul: laughing “Okay, okay, back to Ravi. So, what’s the next step with Neha? You planning on making it official or just enjoying the ride? 🤔”

Ravi: grinning “Let’s see. I’ll keep you guys posted. But for now, it’s just... casual, you know? 😌”

Everyone bursts into laughter as Ravi smirks and puts his phone away.

Emily: laughing “So, that’s the big revelation, huh? Ravi’s got a secret ‘Neha’ in his life, but nothing too serious. Bahut drama karte ho tum log. 😜”

Sam: laughing “Arre, we just want to know who you’re spending time with. At least Ravi has someone to show for his time. 😏”

Rahul: teasing “Hey, at least Ravi is making some moves. I’m still over here with my ‘mystery girl’... and Emily, you’re still waiting for your ‘perfect match.’ 😅”

Emily: smiling playfully “Shut up, Rahul. I’ll find him, just you wait. Just don’t get too comfortable with your ‘mystery girl,’ I might have to steal her from you. 😉”

Rahul: laughing “Arre, easy there! No stealing allowed. I’ve got this covered. But tell us more about your ‘perfect match,’ Emily. What’s the plan there? 🤔”

Emily: shrugging with a mischievous grin “The plan? The plan is I’m not in a hurry. When the right guy comes along, I’ll know. And trust me, he’ll have to match up to my standards. No easy game for anyone. 😎”
