My Teacher - 5 (New Beginnings)

In the next few days many things have changed not only for Puja but also for the class. Students have started to take interest in the new teacher's class. Some are there for the teacher and some are actually interested in the style of teaching. Everyone eagerly waits for the English class every day and the students especially the girls are busy answering the questions before anyone else. Puja isn't an exception also. She has found his views interesting in the prospect of life.

"Okey so I will give you the answer sheets of the class test I took the previous week. Look at them carefully you all have made some common grammatical mistakes here and there. I will cut the marks if I find any of them in the final exams."

"Sir can't I get the marks for grammatical mistakes even if the answer is correct?"
"You made a mistake in the key point. It is the main part of the answer."
"In these cases I would recommend studying more examples. I am staying 30 min more after school so if anyone has any doubt come ask me."

He stepped out of the class when the bell rang. The students were a bit excited to hear the news , Some were making up false doubts so that they could meet Ariyan sir individually. Meanwhile Puja actually wanted to take her doubts but decided not to go ultimately. She had a long way to go after all.
ALAS! as if her fate will listen to her. Maybe GOD was planning something else that day. In the next class Puja embarrassed herself by not being able to tell one easy formula from trigonometry. As a result the teacher told her to solve all the exercises from the chapter. So at last she stayed until late. Many of the girls came to the teacher that day. When he finished giving solutions he came outside of the staffroom. He was taking a stroll in the errand. He saw only one girl sitting in the classroom. He entered and said
"Will you won't be late today if you don't go right now?"
"No I will just take the 6pm...
She didn't lift her until now because she thought it was the monitor.
"Oh, sir I was actually about to leave but I have to finish the exercises from the chapters."
"Hmm seems like your math is in a bad condition"
"Well, this had a long rivalry with me."
"No there is no rivalry between a subject and a student. You have the rivalry with yourself. If you choose to ignore a problem it will haunt you eventually."
Ariyan said while sitting on the bench. He started to unfold her notebooks.
"Sir, are you good at math?"
"Hm at least mine is better than yours."
"What if someone thinks you are favouring me?"
"Don't think so highly of yourself, I would do the same for everyone who wants me to help them. I gave a fair chance to everyone today."
"Now listen , I think you are not reading formulas properly. See why else you will put a minus here?"
"Yaah , I memorized it but..
"Only memorizing is not enough. Do an example from every formula you read and then do the exercises. Now...
While listening to him Puja suddenly stopped hearing anything other than her heartbeat. Those eyes behind the glass seem too bright for her. When did he become so handsome? Puja was thinking in her mind. A gentle brize came across from the window. She was too zoned out.
"Puja, are you listening?"
"Yes, yes."
That day she came back home in a good mood. Even the late time bus jerking also doesn't seem tough to her. At night she also practiced math At first it was her first time. It was truly her new beginning for everything in her life.
