Part 2 - ( You read so far - Beautiful woman Rekha was facing misfortune. She asked her husband Prem, who was driver of her classmate and successful man Rohit, to take her for seeking some favour. Now read ….)

“ You leave it to me. You will see how he meets me and how my meeting would be useful for both of us. I have seen some of his albums and seen ordinary blackish girls dancing on his songs. I hope I will easily win a place in his albums too.“
“ You know, sir gives weightage to virtues and not just skin colour. “
“ I am telling you not to argue. If you are not taking me there I will go on my own.”
After a few days Rekha went to Rohit’s house. She sent a slip through Prem. Prem didn’t want to introduce Rekha himself and so he remained outside in the car as usual. After some time she was called in. After formal talks Prem asked “ How about your husband ? “
“ He is Prem, none other than your driver.”
Rohit asked one of his servants to call Prem in. When he came in he saw Rekha sitting on the sofa opposite Rohit's. Seeing Prem standing in a corner, Rohit asked Prem to come and sit with Rekha. After hesitating for a while Prem sat with Rekha on the sofa.”
Rohit aske Rekha “ So what are you doing now ? “
“At present I am just your driver’s wife. I want to do something to improve our living.”
“ How will you do this ? “
“ That’s why I have come to you. I need your help to enter your industry. “
Rohit said laughingly “ Rekha, you know I am not making films, otherwise I could offer some roles. I am just in the music industry. As far as I know you, you can’t fit in there. “
But your very name and position in the city can very well help me, I think so.”
“ How, you suggest.”
“ Just recommend me to some influential producers or directors in the industry. Rest I am hopeful that I can manage. “
“ But Prem agrees with your idea ? . Then turning towards Prem he asked “ Do you approve her idea ? “
Prem had been watching them discussing it. Before he could say anything Rekha said “ Yes we have discussed it in detail at home. He is okay with it.”
After a few minutes Rohit said “ Okay you meet me after a few days. Let me see what I can do for you. “
After a week Rohit asked Prem to bring his wife. When she came Rohit said to her in presence of Prem “ I have talked to some persons in the industry. You can go and meet them. I will give you letters for them too. “
Rekha was delighted to hear it. Rohit further said “ But you should be aware of the culture of this industry. Your life will be on a roller coaster. You have to prove yourself otherwise you can’t even stand there for a good time. “
Then he said to both Premand Rekha “ Will you like this life of uncertainty. Success is not to be taken for granted. Okay wish you the best, try your luck Rekha ”
The very next day Rekha went to one of the producer’s offices with Rohit’s recommendation. Producer’s secretary asked her “ Did you give your portfolio earlier? Has the producer seen your portfolio file ? “
“ No “
Then better come with your portfolio. He will refuse meeting you without seeing your portfolio first. “
When Rekha told this to Rohit, he said “ The secretary was perfectly right. Didn’t you know the basic thing before going to such people ? You should have carried it there. Anyway he will entertain you whenever you go next time.”
“ But I don’t have any. Is it a must? “
“ What rubbish are you talking about ? It is the very first thing you will be asked anywhere you go in this industry. Don’t you have it ? “
Seeing her silence Rohit understood that she had not any portfolio. Then he said “ You get it ready but do you know it will cost you thousands of Rupees. Are you ready ? “
Rekha nodded her head in negative. Then he said “ Okay go and send Prem to me.You stay in the waiting lounge. “
When Prem came he said “ Rekha needs to make her portfolio before approaching anybody to enter in this field. I understand she hasn’t made her portfolio yet. It will cost plenty of money. I didn’t want to give it in her hand. I am giving you and both of you should spend it wisely. “
Rohit went inside and came back after a few minutes with a bundle of notes. He handed over the cash and also two visiting cards to Prem and said “ Go to these people. They will charge you a reasonable amount if you give my reference. But beyond this all depends on you people. I mean your luck and how far and how soon Rekha can prove her worth. It will be a tough struggle in the beginning, tell her to go alone and you shouldn’t accompany her everywhere, in this line this is unwelcome. “
Soon Rekha visited agencies making portfolios of people aspiring to enter the film industry. She met an ad film making company. Her test and ordeal started at this first stage itself. The producer and the cameraman wanted to shoot her in various poses in varying styles and dresses. She had to expose herself to their satisfaction. She has to wear a bikini and expose her cleavages. In this process she was touched at different parts of her body. Sometimes her still photos at different angles and sometimes her videos were shot in the swimming pool. After a few days her portfolio was ready. She looked more elegant and beautiful in photos than she actually was. This was enough to attract anybody and prove her beauty.
Rekha went to Rohit with her portfolio. After having a look at it he said “ Awesome.The photographer has done his best. Your photos are more beautiful than you really are. That’s what is needed in a portfolio. Now go ahead. Best of luck. But as I said to both of you might have to lose something to gain something.”
