दोस्त जीवन में एक सच्चा दोस्त ज़रूर कमाना….सच्चा दोस्त- दोस्त ही होता हैं.दो दोस्त रोहित और दिव्य आपस में १०वी कक्षा तक कब पहुँच गए पता ही नहीं चला, दिव्य ने १०वी की परीक्षा प्रथम श्रैणी में उत्तीर्ण की दिव्य की बहन सुजाता भी पढ़ाई में बहुत होशियार थीं. रोहित अपने माता पिता का इकलौता बेटा था और पढ़ाई में सामान्य था, रोहित दिव्य की बहन सुजाता को अपनी बहन और सुजाता रक्षा बंधन पर रोहित को राखी बांधती थी एक दिन अचानक सब कुछ बदल गया. दिव्य के पिता एक छोटी सी दुकान चलाते थे, एक दिन उनको लकवा मार गया, जैसे पहाड़ ही टूट पड़ा हो दिव्य को अपनी पढ़ाई बीच में ही छोडनी पड़ी पापा की दुकान पर बैठ कर बस ये ही सोचता रहता था अपनी बहन सुजाता को बहुत पढ़ाना हैं.समय गुजरता रहा रोहित के पापा की कई कम्पनी व एक अस्पताल के मालिक थे. व्यस्त होने के कारण दिव्य व रोहित का मिलना भी बंद हो गया था. एक दिन अचानक दिव्य के पापा की तबियत ज़्यादा ख़राब हो गई और दो दिन बाद उनकी मौत हो गई … स्थिति बड़ी नाजुक थी देने के लिए पैसे नहीं थे. बहस हो रही थी रोहित उधर से निकले जा रहे थे, दिव्य को नहीं पता था ये रोहित का ही अस्पताल हैं, रोहित दिव्य को देख कर उसके पास पहुँच कर पूछते हैं दिव्य क्या हुआ … दिव्य रोता हुआ रोहित से बोला मेरा सब कुछ ख़त्म हो गया पापा हमें छोड़ कर चले गए और हमारे पास देने के लिए भी पैसे नहीं हैं … दिव्य तुम चिंता मत करो ये तुम्हारा ही अस्पताल हैं मैंने सारी व्यवस्था कर दी हैं .रोहित दिव्य के घर जाता हैं और दिव्य की स्तिथि देख कर बड़ा ही दुःख हुआ … दिव्य मेरा सच्चा दोस्त हैं अपने माता पिता से बात करता हैं मम्मी दिव्य की हालात ठीक नहीं हैं क्यूँ न हम उसकी मदद करे हाँ बेटा ज़रूर मदद करो दोस्त दोस्त के काम नहीं आया फिर दोस्त किस बात का … ठीक हैं मम्मी पापा कल रक्षा बंधन भी हैं मुझे सुजाता राखी बाँधती हैं आप भी मेरे साथ चलना. रोहित जैसे ही दिव्य से मिला गले से लगा लिया और बहन सुजाता से बोला आज रक्षा बंधन हैं राखी नहीं बांधेगी हाँ हाँ भैया क्यूँ नहीं…जैसे ही राखी बाँधती है रोहित सुजाता को एक लिफ़ाफ़ा देकर बोलता हैं ये लिफ़ाफ़ा तब खोलना जब हम चले जाए . लिफ़ाफ़ा खोला तो लिखा था … एक बहन को अपने भाई की तरफ़ से ….. तुझे और मेरे प्रिय दोस्त दिव्य के लिए …… मानो उन्हें दुनिया का सब कुछ मिल गया ….. दोस्तों सच्चा दोस्त दोस्त ही होता Lucky are the ones who have a true friend
in life….Divy and Rohit were best friends. Rohit was kind-hearted, hardworking and very good in studies. Divy was the only son of his parents and was average in his studies. Divy’s sister Sujata considered Rohit as his brother and used to tie rakhi to him. Divya’s father used to run a small cutlery shop.
One day suddenly everything changed. Divy’s father had a paralytic attack and was bedridden. The family was shattered and down with grief. Divy had to discontinue his studies and had to take over his father’s shop. He was always worried about Sujata’s future. He wished his sister could do further studies but he didn’t have enough money for the same. Whatever little earnings and savings they had were used for his father’s treatment. It was just going hand to mouth. Time passed. There was no sign of recovery. Doctors were suggesting advanced treatment which would cost an arm and a leg. Divy was worried and couldn’t find a way out.
On the other hand, Rohit’s father owned several companies and a hospital. Apart from studies, Rohit was also into business with his father’s business which kept Rohit busy all the time.
Divy’s father’s health was deteriorating day by day. One dark day he passed away.
Divy was already broken emotionally and financially. He had no money to clear the hospital bills. Despite requesting the doctor’s, they wouldn’t hand over the body till he clears the bill. Divy loses his cool and there was an argument between him and the hospital staff. Rohit was passing by.
Seeing the chaos, he tried to find out the matter. Rohit was staggered on hearing the story. Rohit quickly ordered the staff to clear the bill and matter and went to Davy. Divy did not know that the hospital belonged to Rohit. Divya broke down on seeing Rohit after a long time and that too at this point. He told Rohit that he had lost his father. Rohit consoled him and said not to worry. Everything was taken care of. He made all the arrangements. Rohit was very sad to see Divy’s condition.
Rohit talks to his parents about Divy’s condition and says that he wishes to help him. “Yes son, definitely help your friend. A friend in need is a friend indeed.”
The next day Rohit goes to Divy’s house. As soon as Rohit met Divy they hugged and cried pouring their hearts out. It was Raksha Bandhan. “Sujata, will you not tie me rakhi ?” asked Rohit on seeing Sujata. “Yes, yes brother, why not?”
As soon as Sujata ties rakhi, Rohit gives her an envelope and asks her to open it only after he leaves. When Sujata opens the envelope, she finds a note written…’A small token of love for you and my dear friend Divy. Tears rolled down their eyes. They felt as if they got everything in the world.
