Vikram suddenly pushes her back then stand and put on his button of shirt. Vikram straight away get out of her house. Vikram sit in car and does a rash driving. Vikram reach home with tensed look and Kamini see him tensed get in upset. Kamini blames to Rakesh and Diya for hurting Vikram.
Vikram goes to his room and close the door and take the bottle of beer and drink it. Vikram goes in sleep on sitting on couch. Vikram had a dream in which Ahana and he getting intimate romance on the bed in room which was decorated with candles and ballons. Vikram suddenly wake up and throw the bottle and Kamini comes to see him but listening, Vikram screams and crying. The door was open and Kamini comes in and hug him and try to clam him down.
Vikram was in tears and says, “Kamini I am in love with Ahana but my fear is not getting to confess the love for Ahana. You know I kissed her in my cabin and we both got intimate. Her feeling is clear that she loves me but I am sacred if she leave alone and then what I will do…”
Kamini says, “Fight with fear and I know Ahana is your good friend and she is perfect for you and she will never leave you alone.”
Next day, with new hope Vikram get ready and Kamini serve him breakfast and asked him sign the docment as it was of important and document of new deal with client. Vikram signed a cheque of 10 lakhs and give it to Kamini and asked to donate in the orphanage.
Kamini says, “Fight with fear and I know Ahana is your good friend and she is perfect for you and she will never live you alone.”
Ahana slid behind the wheel of her car, intending to attend Sunday morning temple services. However using her right foot to drive proved nearly impossible. After several jerky attempts at driving with her left foot, Ahana let out a frustrated groan, turned off the car, and awkwardly climbed back out from behind the wheel. No way was that going to work. Ahana was more likely to hit something than not.
Ahana stared up at the cloudless sky, fighting a wave of helplessness. This stupid ankle was going to ruin her few days off work if she couldn’t manage to drive a car. Ahana propped herself against the vehicle, enjoying the cool breeze as she tried to figure out what to do next.
Less than one day and Ahana was already heartily sick of being stuck in her apartment. Maybe she could manage to hobble down to Riama’s Café? Jeevika would keep her company at least for a while. There was nothing the café owner liked more than gossip.
“Ahana!”
Ahana turned when she heard her name, surprise widening her eyes when Jeevika caught sight of Vikram Sharma walking toward her. He’d parked his car a few spaces down from hers.
“Hi, Vikram.” Ahana was glad that this time she didn’t smell like sweat and was dressed in a flowery skirt and a matching pink, short-sleeved top. Ahana tried not to fidget with her clothing. “What are you doing here?”
“I brought over a pair of crutches in case you needed some help getting around.” Vikram gazed at her attire and lifted his brow. “Are you headed somewhere special?”
Ahana blushed and wished Ahana could stop this ridiculous reaction to him. “I planned on attending temple services, but driving is apparently not an option.” Had Vikram mentioned crutches? Ahana brightened with the possibility.“I bet I could walk to temple, though, if you’re serious about allowing me to borrow those crutches.” Temple and then Riama’s café. Much better than sitting around and staring at the four walls of her apartment.
“I think it would be better if I drove you to temple,” Vikram said slowly. “Crutch walking isn’t easy for long distances.”
“Oh.” Ahana was flabbergasted by his willingness to take her to temple because she’d never seen him attend services in the past. “That’s very kind, but I don’t want to take you out of your way.”
“It’s no problem. Here, lean on me, and we’ll get you over to my car.”
Ahana found it unsettling to realize Ahana was standing close to Vikram with his arm anchored around her waist for the second time in less than twenty-four hours. Ahana had no idea why God kept sending this man into her path, but for right now, Ahana couldn’t think of an excuse not to go along with his offer. Other than the obvious one, that spending time with Vikram wasn’t smart.
