PART-1
In the beautiful state of Gujarat in a bungalow which was away from the city near forests, our sunshining hero lived. He was called Vyom by people. Everyone loved him because of his kindness and helping nature. But now he had turned 25 and had to think about his career.
He was an IT pass out; he had to do something to earn money. There were many bad things that happened in his life. His father and mother were turning old and their hands were not able to work now.
But it is 2060, and there are no jobs left. There are billions of people jobless. At such times education doesn’t matter, experience does. Then too Vyom tries real hard to get a job. But fails…
One day he got a letter; it said that if he wants a job then he needs to come to a particular coordinates. He thought it was fake but later when he was in his room, water fell down from his hands. He thought he would clean it a bit later as he was preparing for the interview. But after 1 hour the water on the floor took different bars and dot shapes. He did not first understand but as he was IT graduate and also he knew different languages and how to crack codes.
He cracked that bar and dot code and got a few numbers, also there was a word, BODMAS. He quickly understood and applied BODMAS on that number and got a number.
He first thought what that number could mean. His father was reading a newspaper; there was a world map behind. He saw a coordinate which was similar to that number. Yes you all got it right viewers, the numbers were actually coordinates. Surprisingly those coordinates were similar to those which he got in letter.
Now he thought that coordinates needed to be trodden. But actually those coordinates took him to forests of Africa. He did not have much money but somehow managed and decided to use all his money to go there, maybe he can get a job.
After a 2 hour ride in a supersonic plane, of course viewers there were no more planes which ran with diesel or turbo. Now it is 2060 and everything is supersonic.
After reaching there he rented a jeep, as he had to go into deep forests. When he was near the coordinates, his jeep had to stop as there were big tree bark fallen. Now he had to travel with the help of his limbs. He reached coordinate after walking about half a mile. But there was nothing. He was taken aback. Now he had no money, he had no hopes left he was now hopeless.
He was going to scream out but he saw something strange, there was a spaceship, now as he did not have anything else to do so he went inside and wanted to scream out and cry. But as he went inside he found the spaceship is very nicely made and is not old.
So he tried to fix it, a wire here and a wire there and he added a motor which was already there, he changed few parts and
BOOOOOOOM!
It actually started working. After a few seconds a few people were approaching and he was startled. He was going to go out and hide but people saw him. They were actually scientists. They caught him and surprisingly found the spaceship working.
All were very much happy. Scientists called Mission Director. He was happy and danced. Vyom was still in doubt, he asked what happened? I fixed it. What does it matter? Why are you all dancing?
All said that this spaceship was not getting started, due to which their mission was stuck for about 22 years. But Vyom fixed it too quickly. The Mission Director offered him a job, he needed to go to Jupiter to find life and whether it was suitable to live or not. He needed to go with 4 other crewmates.
He needed a job and he got it and now if he says no then he might not be able to get any other job. He called his parents and sent them 50 Lakh rupees which he got as advance.
He asked to Mission Director why this is a hidden project and he wanted to know all about his organisation. The Mission Director said that this is ISRO, actually if we operated from India then many won’t allow it so we said to ISRO to give us the Jupiter project and they would prepare all by themselves in a remote place.
ISRO can’t say no so they hid and did all the preparations. While walking and walking Vyom did not know that he entered a big underground project centre. There was a spaceship which was being updated and a rocket.
The Mission Director asked Vyom how he got to know about this place. Vyom told him the whole story.
Soon they entered a big hall where there were different objects kept. Soon 4 crewmates joined Vyom. The Mission Director said that Vyom would be your technical supporter. All welcomed him.
Now all 5 crewmates needed to be trained. They all were to be in high pressure, know how to change damaged parts and of course how to be in no Gravity. After 1 year’s training they all were trained.
At last after training Vyom was selected as Leader as his performance was much better than others, he knew how to tackle pressure and how to manage the whole team.
But the problems weren’t over. Launch date was for October 1st but due to heavy rain and windstorms the spaceship fell off. It was a great shock for all ISRO Africa’s engineers. But Vyom being leader did not allow anyone to lose hope and on 10th October our Crewmates launched for Jupiter.
