1.A Gift from the outer space
It was so dark and calm inside,where a mother holds her daughter so close,taking breaths in an inconvenient way and then,the door breaks with a humongous creature entering inside,holding the mother's hair,dragging her outside and kills her.Watching her Mother's death,the daughter screams in pain.But,not only her,there are more of those screams in that place as their place was invaded by the Army of TRITON,the powerful,cruel and ruthless creature in the Solar system.But for what is this invasion,for what are they looking.
A boy runs so fast to his father as he warns him "Father,they are here.The Army of Triton are here,tearing our place and people apart"."I know,I know Son,just hang on a minute",his father replies."Can't you stop them with this thing you designed?"says the boy,pointing towards some object."It isn't ready yet,they have to undergo some automation,a lot more of science stuff is remained undone,which takes a lot of time to get ready" says his father.The boy just don't know what to say,as he thought that it could help them to get out the situation,falls down on his knees,crying.His father stops his work and holds his son saying "Hey,Ronec,listen to me,we may lose now,but we still had a chance to win in this moment.Are you ready to help me with it?" Ronec wipes his tears saying "Yes".
Outside,where the army of Triton are destroying the place apart,they still didn't get what they want as they report to their army head,Triton's most loyal one,Valco,that they didn't find what they are looking for.Valco loses his cool as he hits the ground so hard for a couple of times in which,the ground breaks as they hear hollow sounds,while he was hitting down,which makes them think why not to look underneath them.
Ronec holds a box which is made of some metal,walks towards a pod,places the box inside it and closes it."I think we are done with the boxes Father,what are we going to do next!",he asks his Father."It is not we,it is me who is going to do" says Father.Ronec doesn't understand what he is saying as he asks "What,what are you saying!",and they hears a big explosion,which sounds like a door is blasted of the passage into their lab.They get alerted by that sound as Ronec shouts out "I think that's them,they are here".Father holds him saying "Ronec,this is the moment we are going to win.The things we have packed now,they have come for them,that is what they want"."For those?but how do they know about this work of yours,I thought you kept it confidential" says Ronec."There's no time to talk about this,I have set the co ordinates for your travel along with those pods to a similar planet like ours,Planet Earth",says his Father."What do you mean by my travel?How in the hell do you think that I am going to leave you in a situation like this",says Ronec."Ronec,this is no time for emotions,there has to be someone to keep an eye on those and it has to be you",says Father."But,no,I can't leave you here,I will not go" Ronec cries.Father takes him closer into his hands to distract Ronec from his upcoming move,where he pushes him into a traveller pod,which had a space for one person."Father,no,I can't go like this leaving you behind,why don't you just get into an other pod and come with me!"Ronec cries out loud.Father smiles in pride,saying "I love you Ronec" and hits a button which gives access to all the pods for their launch.Ronec cries out "No" seeing his father,leaning on the transparent glass door of the pod,making the last eye contact with his father which doesn't even last for more than 2 seconds,as he gets launched from the planet into the outer space.Father sighs for a bit and sets the place to auto destruct,as he didn't want him and his work not to be found by Triton's army.As Triton's army steps in,the countdown for self destruct completes and the place erases from its existence.Valko senses the explosion underneath and he understands what exactly has happened there as he says to himself "Brave move" and asks everyone of his men to leave the place.Ronec can't come out from his grief as he sits crying in the pod and thinking,out of all the planets in the solar system,why did his Father choose planet Earth to be the one,which has living in there.
Back in planet Earth,an early morning,in the most loved country India and somewhere in the southern part of it,we see many running for their living to survive and there is this one girl,named Prerna,a 15 year old girl,who chose running as her profession,dream and everything in her life,who is in a rush as she was running on the road,evading and asking excuses from the people she is hitting on her way.And the long run by her feet stops at place,which is obviously a stadium with running track.She takes heavy breaths as she ran fast and looks at the track with an excitement in her eyes and then,the gate closes by some person,keeping her out.Prerna loses her excitement and gives an irritating look which tells us that this isn't the first time for her,happening like this."You are late again",says the one who closed the gate."Come on,you know how much time it takes for me to get here and what I have to do before coming here,as I…." says Prerna and gets interrupted by the gate keeper "Yeah,yeah,I know.You have to do your mother stuff,the same story daily",which makes Prerna a bit frustrated but she doesn't show it in her face.But then,she hears a voice from inside,asking her to let in.She gets excited as the gate keeper opens the gate and she rushes inside to her Coach,who is the one asked the gate keeper to allow her in.Prerna apologizes her Coach for being late and tries to get into the track,taking of her slippers,where her coach interrupts her saying "Do you know what is more important than being responsible towards your work?".Prerna thinks she is about to have lecture from him,but in a good way and Coach continues with his words saying "Being punctual.Being punctual to your work"."Yeah,I know I am late but you do know why!",says Prerna."Don't come up with the same reason Prerna", says Coach.Prerna seems a bit upset but here are the words that enlighten her as Coach says "I don't want to hear this reason on the day of competition".Prerna alerts by his words as she asks him in excitement "What!" and he says "You are in Prerna,you got selected.You are in the list", says the Coach.Prerna gets excited and goes crazy like a kid and hugs her Coach in utter happiness and then she realises something as she tells her Coach "But,I didn't even have my own shoes to run"."Oh,right.What should we have to do now!" says the coach and he makes a small act like a magician,moving his hands around and makes a "Pop" sound and asks Prerna to take a look in her backpack.She opens it and finds some money as she says "You can't be serious"."Well I am" says Coach."You know,I can't take this.You have done so much for me and I am the one who owes you a lot", says Prerna."Hey,all this time of your hard work,is going to gain a start.Just think of it as a push or more like a gratitude from this Old Coach of yours.Once you win, that's what all I want from you.To see you as a champion", Coach embarks her with his words as Prerna has nothing to say but "Thank you".Coach smiles with happiness as he says "You know,I should have bought you a pair but I had a doubt that you would like them or not,so I have to do this"."Really,is that the reason!You know I would like it however it is", says Prerna.Coach clears his throat and says "Okay,enough.Go,practise".Prerna laughs and gets her feet on the track,running with a smile on her face, can't stop herself thinking that she is about to run in the competition.She takes a bath and dresses up in the dorm at the stadium and walks her way to school.She seems very happy and shares the news about her competition with her fellow beings.As her time at school completes by afternoon,she walks to her work place,which is a restaurant as she has to work for her living and had to take care of her sick mom,as her Father is no more.But today,she isn't thinking about anything but of competition,she tells everyone of her staff at the restaurant.She gets amused and can't wait for the day.But who knows that life puts her in a tough situation which is about to occur now.
As the day passes and the night arrives,Prerna completes her shift at the restaurant and was about to leave as she had plans to buy a pair of shoes for her competition.Just in that moment,a call arrives to the restaurant as the caller asks for Prerna.Prerna takes the call asking "Yeah,who's this?".It was Prerna's neighbor from their livinghood,claiming about Prerna's mother,that she is having a condition,which looks severe.Prerna's mind strikes that the medicine are out and she runs immediately to the store to buy some.She makes her way home,as fast as she can and watches her mother behaving abnormally.She gives the medicine to her,which slowly shows impact on her and puts her Mother to sleep eventually.Prerna exhales in fear and sits down as she is frightened with the situation.The neighbouring women who stayed till now,asks Prerna to take care of her and leaves.Silence fills the place and Prerna sitting so calm.
A few moments later ,a girl, Mythri,rides on her bicycle to Prerna's house,and finds that she isn't home.But she knows exactly where to find her.
It was a highest peak at their place,a flat landed place with a bare land beneath it far too down.Mythri rides up to the place and finds Prerna there,sitting alone.She parks her bicycle and walks to Prerna as she sits beside her saying "Getting some fresh air,after running for your dream,which is also running,is good", talks to her in an encouraging way but Prerna doesn't respond to her."So,where are your shoes! Didn't you wanna show me?" Mythri asks.Prerna still remains calm.Mythri lays her hand on Prerna's shoulder asking "Is everything okay?".Prerna takes a long breath saying "I didn't buy them".Mythri pauses for a second and says "What do you mean by didn't buy them!"."I used the money for the medicines of my mother", says Prerna."Oookayy!You haven't misused them", says Mythri."I should have known before.I should have seen that we ran out of medicine.The time I arrived home,she was in a condition where no child would ever dream to see their Mother like that.It was all my fault", Prerna blames herself."No,no,no,nothing is your fault Prerna",says Mythri."Don't do that.I know,I failed.I failed everyone.I failed my Coach who kept faith in me.I failed my mother by not taking good care of her,I failed everyone who thought that I might get success one day and now,I failed myself", says Prerna and continues "I have never thought that a day like this would arrive,after the death of my Father.I was so afraid that she would end up like my Father too",Prerna cries out."Hey,it won't happen like that",Mythri consoles her.Silence remains for a while between them and Prerna makes a talk saying "Do you know why I come up here all the time!".Mythri pays attention to her."My Father used to bring me here when I was a kid.He used to show me all the stars in the sky and I really felt very happy looking at them,I don't why,but I do", Prerna lets out a half smile."But one day,we saw an unnatural thing happened,which is not unnatural now.We saw,a star falling down and I shouted "Father,look at it,a star is falling down" and he said "Woah!Make a wish Prerna,make a wish" and I really didn't remember what I wished that day.I asked him what was it and he said "It was a shooting star.When something like that appears in the sky,you have to wish for what you want".After his death,I came up all the way here,looking for that shooting star to wish to bring back my Father.But it never appeared.I used to come here all the way,running,everytime.It never appeared.I kept running all the time.Even though I am facing many problems and issues,I have never stopped running,which made me see what I was made for.To run", speaks out of her heart with her friend.Mythri looks at her,listening everything she is saying."And from that day,I ripped off my feet to improve myself day by day,running and running and running and finally,I stopped.I thought running didn't had an end but it does,like the way it ended for me", tears rolling down her eyes as she wipes them.Mythti feels sad for her as she doesn't know what to speak."All I thought everytime is to run fast Mythri.But I didn't have it anymore.So I came here with a stupid idea but ended up thinking of Mother and you" says Prerna."Well,now this is something which makes me get angry on you besides feeling sad for you all the time" says Mythri.Prerna smiles a bit."Hey,it isn't an end like you think.It's just a situation which is not in favour of you.One day,you will get what you want and you will never stop,Okay!",says Mythri.Prerna nods her head smiling."God,I don't know how that came from me" says Mythri laughing "Okay, let's go,Mother is alone at home"."You just go and stay with her,I just want some time alone", says Prerna."Okay then,just don't be stupid,be quick", says Mythri and leaves.Prerna stays for a while and decides to make a move to her house,but then,she listens something is approaching from the sky as she looks up and something with an utmost force approaching and hits the bare ground far down the cliff,which makes a big impact on the ground and Prerna shouts in terror.A big smoke covers it with a few flames which are about to set off,are watched by Prerna from the top.Her heart fills with fear,but she decides to go down and take a look about what it would be.She walks down and goes close to the thing.Her heart beats faster than usual.She steps close to it and looks at it.The thing opens automatically when she approached closer to it and her eyes become wider when she sees what is inside.
