God cannot be with us all the time...so he blessed us with friends ..I am sure !
Moreover, I am especially blessed because i have been blessed ( gifted ) with an Angel as my friend, my dear, dear Melba.
An angel who lit up my path of life, which was otherwise grey and gloomy, lonely and filled with sadness and misery. Then one fine day she introduced me to another friend who was, is and would always be with me all the time and who would never ever let me be lonely again...and that friend is GOD !!! A loyal and faithful friend for life. My friend, my companion my guide, my protector, my saviour, my everything whom i could trust and depend on blindly.
The day I found him through my angel Melba, then onwards I was never ever alone. I always found him by my side, accompanying me in my lows and highs...in my smiles and sighs...
in my laughter and tears, in my days and nights.
Sometimes he held my hand but more often he carried me through my darkest nites, toughest times and my loneliest hours. He wiped my tears and replaced them with smiles. In fact its he who taught me how to laugh, how to be all by myself. How to enjoy my own company.
He taught me how to love without being loved back in return. How to give without being given back anythng. How to nurture relationships oneway. Someone has said that you cannot clap with one hand. It is he who taught me that though you cannot clap single handedly, you could definitely whistle all on ur own. It is said that your shadow is your best friend, it never leaves you but i have seen shadows also leaving in our dark moments. But God - God held me even more closer when it became dark.
I never knew that we could be friends with God and would never have known but for my angel friend Melba who could not be with me at all times but handed me over to such safe hands that would befriend me even after death do us apart or come even more closer after death ??
God is always and will be my first resort as a friend and not my last option. He waits upon me. He upholds me. I can cast all my cares to him, anytime. He is always there to take away all my burdens and make me lighter.
He is a friend who gifts me everything without asking for a single thing in return. A true friend in the real sense. He sends abundant love, favours and grace my way whether or not I ask for it.
The Unconditional love that I was seeking and that too for a lifetime I found only when I found him and I realised that what I was expecting unconditional love, unconditional forgiveness, availability at my side at all times whenever I needed , no human could fulfill this expectation,
only my God could. May I always be rooted in this friend's love, My God's Love. Thank you Melba ! My friend, My Angel for introducing me to a life ong friend, faithful friend and always available and unconditionally loving friend.
