(13) 1.9k 6.5k 5 After a lot of thought and brainstorming I finally came to a decision that I wanted to my topic to be on something to about music. I knew it had to be really specific and precise so I continued to think about what area would I like to learn more about that has to deal with music. As I was on my way home a couple of days ago I saw a group of teenagers listening to rap music and they were behaving in a crazy and somewhat hostile manner. I then thought to myself I should research how music affects teenagers behavior towards society. sometimes music can have a bad or a good influence on people especially teenagers. In high school my friends were always listening to music and would go around saying quotes from the songs. For example Chris Brown wrote a song about females not being loyal, ever since then boys or guys would go around saying that girls aren’t loyal so don’t trust them. Being a teenager can be rough time emotionally as the body goes through lots of changes. And for those emotions, music plays a key role. There is no doubt about various powers of music, but the aspect of music which is of the greatest value to human being is its emotional aspect.No achievement can be as great as emotional uplifting that we get from the music. Music help us connect with our deeper self and bring our emotions from the inner soul. Music is an especially emotional art from covering every type of emotions including happiness, anger, sadness, regret and anxiousness. Music means something which has the potential to affect emotions. Music even helps teenagers identify process and express their emotions. This is especially true when teenager are enable to discuss their issue and emotions with the family and friends. There the music can make them feel less alone. Music has the magical power. It has a soothing and healing power. Music help us to relax. The melodies notes have the capacity to cure the mental or physical fatigue of a weary person. When teenagers use music as a mood modifier it can be used to reinforce negative emotions as well as positive emotions. That is why music can be especially meaningful to teenagers. Every teenagers might try to make their own music which can create healthy emotional expression. As every coin has two sides, music even has some disadvantages. in some cases, a teenager's involvement with music goes further than just listening to it. Sometimes music can be a way to escape overwhelming problem in your life, but it may not be the best solution if you are feeling depressed. Choosing music instead of books or t.v. may make you more depressed. If you know someone who is spending five to six hours every day immersed in depressing music, that person may be at risk of depression. Selecting some melancholy music at particular situations may lead the person to heavy depression. Thus music washes away from the soul, the dust of everyday Life and inspires one to live a lofty life. There is absolute tranquility and harmony, when the magical notes of music enter one's heart.
