The story revolves around Triveni Acharya, a dedicated crusader against sex trafficking and the founder of the Rescue Foundation. One harrowing night, she leads a team, accompanied by armed police, to rescue four young girls trapped in a dark cell within a notorious red light area. The girls, traumatized and fearful, are successfully rescued and informed that they are no longer sex slaves. Triveni Acharya's tireless efforts have led to the rescue of over five thousand girls, many of whom are minors, from brothels across various regions, including Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Myanmar, and Uzbekistan. She has built a strong network of allies and informers and is often consulted by police for locating missing girls. Following the tragic death of her husband, Balkrishna Acharya, in a car accident in 2005, Triveni took charge of the Rescue Foundation, which they had established together to combat human trafficking. Since then, she has dedicated her life to improving the lives of needy children and girls, working late into the night to save lives and fight against social evils.
