The story "Good Bye" is narrated by Parampara Tejwani, who shares the life story of her childhood friend, Anurag. They grew up together, playing and studying side by side. While Parampara pursued literature in college, Anurag excelled in science and became a doctor, earning a scholarship for his hard work. Anurag moved to Ahmedabad for further studies, where he developed a caring nature and made many friends, yet he struggled to understand his good friend Sangeeta, who harbored deep feelings for him. Despite her love, Sangeeta was too shy to express her emotions, and Anurag remained unaware of her feelings, viewing her only as a friend. As Anurag's studies concluded, Sangeeta invited him for dinner, where she prepared his favorite meal. After dinner, they headed to the train station for his departure. Anurag was joyful about becoming a doctor, but Sangeeta was heartbroken, not wanting to say goodbye. Though tears filled her eyes, Anurag, consumed by his happiness, failed to notice her sorrow. As he boarded the train, he reflected on Sangeeta, marking the tragic misunderstanding of love in their relationship.
