In ancient Hastinapur, a brave king named Pandu had five sons known as the Pandavas: Yudhishtir, Bhim, Arjuna, Nakul, and Sahdev. After Pandu's death, his brother Dhritrastra, who had a hundred sons known as the Kauravas, became king. Dhritrastra appointed Guru Dronacharya to educate both the Pandavas and Kauravas in virtues and the art of war. One day, during a lesson review, Guru Dronacharya asked Yudhishtir if he had understood the previous day's lesson, to which Yudhishtir humbly replied he had not. This surprised the guru, especially as Duryodhana, the eldest Kaurava, confidently recited the lesson's teachings. Despite being surrounded by classmates who had grasped the lesson, Yudhishtir continued to struggle with it over several days, prompting frustration from Guru Dronacharya. Yudhishtir repeatedly expressed his efforts to learn but failed to provide an answer, leading the guru to lose interest in teaching him and the others.
