એક સમયે સૌરાષ્ટ્રના એક શાંતિપૂર્ણ અને સુંદર રાજવાડામાં રાજકુમારી સત્યમાયા રહેતી. તે માત્ર સુંદર જ નહોતી, પરંતુ તેની સૌથી મોટી ઓળખ તેની સાચાઈ હતી. સત્યમાયા હંમેશા સત્ય બોલતી અને દરેક સાથે પ્રેમ અને દયા રાખતી. રાજ્યના લોકો તેને ખૂબ માનતા. તેઓ કહેતા કે સત્યમાયા જેવી રાજકુમારી કોઈને ભાગ્યે જ મળે.સત્યમાયા બાળપણથી જ શીખી હતી કે જીવનમાં સત્ય અને સારો સ્વભાવ સૌથી મોટી શક્તિ છે. રાજાએ પણ તેને હંમેશા સાચા માર્ગે ચાલવાનું શીખવ્યું હતું. તેથી જ્યારે પણ કોઈ મુશ્કેલી આવતી, સત્યમાયા શાંતિથી વિચાર કરીને યોગ્ય નિર્ણય લેતી.એક દિવસ રાજમહલમાં મોટી ચિંતા ફેલાઈ ગઈ. રાજ્યનું અમૂલ્ય રત્ન ચંદ્રલતા અચાનક ગુમ થઈ ગયું.
