(રસ્કિન બોન્ડ ની વાર્તા monkey business નો ભાવાનુવાદ.)તુતીદાદાજી ચર્ચમાં રવિવારના માસમાંથી પરત આવી મને હોબી ક્લાસમાંથી લઈ ઘેર આવતા હતા. અમે બજારમાંથી પસાર થયા ત્યાં એક ખૂણે મદારી ડુગડુગી વગાડી વાંદરાઓનો ખેલ કરતો હતો. બે મોટા વાંદરા એ કહે એમ કરતા હતા. એક ખૂણે સાવ નાનું વાંદરું સાંકળમાં, એક થાંભલા સાથે બાંધેલું હતું. એ આમથીબતેમ કૂદાકૂદ કરતું હતું, તોફાની લાગતું હતું પણ એની આંખો જાણે રડતી હતી. એ ખૂબ ઉદાસ લાગતું હતું.દાદાજીએ મદારીને કહ્યું કે પોતે આ વાંદરું ખરીદી લેવા માગે છે. થોડા ભાવતાલ પછી દાદાજીએ કદાચ સો રૂપિયામાં એ લીધું. સાંકળ પકડી મને આપી કહે “લઈ જશું ને ઘેર?”મને
