Suveer, who lived in Chennai, had been avoiding family visits due to the pressure of getting married. However, when his family moved to a new home in Rajkot, he felt compelled to visit them. His family consisted of his parents, an elder brother, a sister-in-law, and their twins. They had sold their small flat to buy two larger ones, currently used as a single unit. After the initial excitement of the visit wore off, his family began discussing potential brides for him. To escape the impending marriage discussions, Suveer slipped out of the house. He didn't mind marriage per se; he had previously met some potential matches, but none had worked out. He feared the commitment of an arranged marriage and felt an inexplicable hesitation about taking the next step towards becoming a husband.
