In Chapter 11, titled "Eden," the narrative explores a different account of creation as described in the biblical text. It contrasts with the Genesis account, suggesting a distinct origin and authorship. The chapter outlines the creation of man from soil by Yahweh God, who then plants a garden in Eden, filled with various trees, including the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Yahweh God creates a river that branches into four streams, providing a lush environment where man is placed to tend the garden. The man is given the freedom to eat from any tree except for one, with the warning that eating from it will lead to death. Recognizing that the man should not be alone, Yahweh God creates wild animals and birds, bringing them to the man to name. Despite naming all the creatures, a suitable helper for the man is not found. Consequently, Yahweh God causes the man to fall into a deep sleep and creates a woman from one of his ribs. The man recognizes her as "bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh," signifying a deep connection between them.
