In 2008, while pursuing my MCA in the third semester, I received my first marriage proposal from a girl with similar educational qualifications. Her parents were eager for her to marry soon, while my parents, being the only child, were not in a hurry. I had concerns about my attendance affecting my practical exams and was still job-hunting, leading me to initially decide to decline the proposal. Despite my reservations, the girl's parents insisted on a meeting, which took place at a mutual friend's house. Excited yet determined to say "No," I met her for the first time. Nervously, I answered her questions about my studies and future plans, clearly stating my focus on completing my MCA. However, she posed a thought-provoking question: "Are you planning to live alone in life?" I was unable to answer that, and as we parted, her question lingered in my mind, prompting me to reflect on the possibility of unintentional loneliness in my future. After returning home late that night, I continued to ponder her words.
