Lalleshwari, also lovingly called *Lala Ma, Laal Ded, Lal Arifa* and revered by hindus and muslims alike, was a mystic shivyogini , who live in Kashmir 700 years ago. Married yet walking on the spiritual path, her teachings or *Wakh* spring from her experience of and learning from everyday life.
The author *Dr Yogeshwari Bhat* pays tribute to this 14th century saint by translating her knowledge originally written in the *kashmiri sharada script*.
