Amidst the tales of a glorious past lie the mesmerising ruins of the immortal Hampi, Karnataka.
This Lakshmi Narasimha is one of the most imposing sculptures and the largest monolithic Murti in Hampi.
Originally the Murti also had Devi Lakshmi sitting on Lord’s lap, but it was vandalised and damaged in the year 1565 by the Invaders.
The murti of Devi Lakshmi can now be seen in Archaeological Museum Hampi, Kamalapura.
