While gluing
My hands gets messy
And unclean
Looks like
A peeling mask
Or a snake shedding
It's skin
I kept gathering pieces
Trying to add link
But all looked same
Dipped in red ink
Some couldn't fix in gap
Many dropped and cracked
While gluing
Putting each piece
back to its place
again hands scratched
I hope someday someone
Would do it for me
Fixing own heart
Is damn hard
Cause while gluing
It hurts
takes in
Lots of dirt
Excerted by
This cruel world.
