"મારે છ વાગે ઉઠવાનું હતું એની જગ્યા એ સવા સાત વાગી ગયા." મનોમન હું બબડ્યો.રોજ પથારીમાં બેઠા બેઠા જ પ્રાર્થના કરીને પછી જ હું પથારી છોડતો.એના બદલે સીધો જ બાથરૂમમાં ઘૂસ્યો.નાહીને ઝટપટ કપડા બદલાવીને મેં મારા દાદીમાને કહ્યું. "મા.અશોકભાઈ એ મને ક્યાંક કામે લગાડવાની વાત કરી હતી.અને સવા સાત.સાડા સાત.સુધીમાં તેમના ઘેર મને બોલાવ્યો હતો માટે જાઉં છુ."
