The story "My Surreal Experience" recounts a personal experience from five years ago during the Diwali festival. The narrator was working in Ahmedabad and often traveled to their village, Adariyana, for weekends. Due to heavy workloads and extended leaves of colleagues during Diwali, the narrator had to work late and missed the last bus to their village. On the night known as Kalichaudas, the narrator faced a decision: wait until morning or ride their bike home to not miss the early morning puja. Choosing to ride, they set off on a highway that eventually turned into a dark, lonely road leading to their village. As they rode, they recalled childhood stories about Kalichaudas night being a time when spirits roamed, which unsettled them. After a dinner break, they continued on the eerie path, surrounded by unsettling night sounds. Just a few kilometers from their village, the narrator saw a blurred figure on the road, which turned out to be a woman in a red saree. They stopped to inquire about her presence in the dark, marking the beginning of a surreal encounter.
