at Mumbai, I was overjoyed. However, the very next day after our farewell, when I expected to introduce Tasnim to my family, she vanished without a trace, leaving me with heartache and confusion. Fast forward to February 2015, as I stood in line at the airport, the chance encounter with Tasnim brought back a flood of memories and emotions. I had not seen her since that fateful day four years ago, and her sudden reappearance stirred up long-buried feelings and questions about what had happened to her. The reunion at the wedding had taken an unexpected turn, as I contemplated how our lives had diverged so drastically since our college days, when love had seemed so certain and future so bright.
