ગોકુલમાં આજ બહુ ઉજાસ હતો.નંદભવનમાં બધાં ગોપાલ-ગોપીઓ ભેગા થયા હતા,કારણ કે આજે એક વિશેષ દિવસ હતો.ગોકુલમાં ગણપતિ બાપાનો પ્રથમ વખત જન્મોત્સવ ઉજવવાનો હતો.બાલકૃષ્ણ તો સવારથી જ ઉત્સાહિત—મુખ પર શણગાર, હાથમાં વાંસળી અને હૃદયમાં બાળ સ્નેહ ભરેલો. અને મન માં ગણપતિ થી મળવા નો આનંદ હતો . જે એમના મુખ ના સ્મિત પર છલકતું હતું .યશોદામૈયાએ પૂછ્યું:“કાન્હા, તું એટલો ખુશ કેમ?”કૃષ્ણ હસીને બોલ્યા:“મૈયા, આજે તો મારું મિત્ર ગણેશ આપણાં ઘર આંગણે પધારશે.આજે ગણેશ જી ને મીઠાઈ ખવડાવવાની છે, ને વાંસળી સાંભળાવવાની છે.”ને એક સરસ કવિતા સંભળાવી છે.હે મારા‌મિત્ર ગણેશ . રુડું રૂડું રૂપાળું તમારો વેશ. જિંદગી ને બધી
