મછરીલા સૂર આમ તો શિયાળો મારી મનગમતી ઋતુ છે. નાનપણમાં પણ ‘શિયાળાની સવાર ' નિબંધ જ લખાતો ગમતી ઋતુ! પણ ‘શિયાળાની સાંજ ‘ કે ‘શિયાળાની રાત ‘ ક્યારેય નહોતો પૂછાયો નહિ તો એ વિશે ઘણું અણગમતું લખાત! જીવનમાં સતત મનગમતું તો ક્યાંથી હોય એની સાથે અણગમતું તો હોય જ ને! એ રીતે જ આ મનગમતામાં એક અણગમતી વાત દરેક શિયાળે હોય છે. શિયાળો શરૂ થાય અને ઘરમાં હેલિકોપ્ટરોનો ત્રાસ શરૂ થઈ જાય. આમ તો હેલિકોપ્ટર ચોમાસા પછી તરત દેખાય પણ શિયાળામાં એની કનડગત વિશેષ વધી જાય. હેલિકોપ્ટર એટલે શું સમજાયું કે નહીં? ઘરમાં ફરતાં ગુન ગુનિયા લોહી પ્યાસા જંતુ “
