વિરાટગઢના ઘાટોમાં વસેલું એક નાનકડું ગામ હતું – માલસંગ. અહીં ઘણા વર્ષોથી એક જૂનું દેવસ્થાન બંદ પડેલું હતું – મંગલદેવનું મંદિર. સ્થાનિક લોકોમાં એક માન્યતા હતી કે આ મંદિરમાં ભूत રહે છે અને કોઇ આ મંદિરની આસપાસ જાય તો પાછા નથી ફરતાં. ખાસ કરીને ચોમાસા દરમિયાન અહીં કોઇ જઈ ન શકતું – ત્યાં એક રહસ્યમય ભય હતો.એક શહેરમાં રહેતો યુવક – અહાન પટેલ, એક ઇન્વેસ્ટિગેટિવ પત્રકાર હતો. "અનખોલી હકીકતો" નામની એક લોકપ્રિય મેગેઝિન માટે તે અઘરી અને અનસલવાયી ઘટનાઓની છાણબીન કરતો. એક દિવસ એને માલસંગના મંદિર વિષે સાંભળ્યું અને એનું મન ઉત્સુક બની ગયું.“માળસંગનું રહસ્ય... આજ સુધી કોઇ અહિયાંથી જીવતુ
