في اعالي الجبل توجد قرية جميلة ، يعيش سكانها على الزراعة ورعي الاغنام وهناك عدة اسر تتعاون فيما بينها في اشغال الزراعة فمنهم من يشتغل بالصوف وتتحويله الى خيوط جميلة ومنهم من يشتغل بالحدادةة ويصنع الات الزراعية ومنهم من يصنع الاتخار الفوده تقوده المركبة الفضائية إلى مسافة بعيدة ويجد الناس يريدون السيطرة عليه الكون الجميل وفي اللساحة الكبيرة للقرية يجتمع الناس لشراء منتجات القرى المجاورة وألعاب من دمى والعاب مختلفة كان جون يتجول في ساحة القريةمع صديقه ارثر ثم ذهب بعيدا اسفل الجبل حيث الاشجار الكثيفة والكهوف الكبيرة واذ بهم يجدون الة ضخمة فقاموا بالاحاطة بها فوجدوا فيها نافذة صغيرة
