Jaydeep defends himself by explaining that the teacher provoked him and that it was their first day at college. He mentions that Manasi is his long-time friend and that they were late to class for a trivial reason. Jaydeep expresses his frustration about the teacher's comments that upset Manasi, who starts to cry. The principal asks the teacher to step outside to have a private conversation with the students. The principal acknowledges the teacher's long service but agrees that his behavior was inappropriate. He decides not to punish the students immediately but insists that they should stay away from class for 14 days to avoid any further issues, which the students accept.
