Kavita received a long message from her brother but didn't have time to respond, quickly texting "ttyl" before heading to work. After a hectic day, she called him back, agreeing to have their mother, Renu, come stay with them. At dinner, she announced Renu's visit, which excited her kids and mother-in-law, Amala, who often felt lonely at home. However, the next morning, Kavita surprised everyone by telling Amala she needed to leave while Renu was visiting. Amala was taken aback, but Kavita encouraged her to visit her sister in Pune. Amala left just before Renu arrived. Anang, Kavita's husband, dropped Amala off at the airport and picked up Renu, who was disappointed not to see her daughter there. Once home, Renu was pleased to take care of the kids, but it was exhausting since she was now responsible for household duties that Amala usually managed during her visits. Renu felt lonely as Kavita and Anang's busy schedules left her with little company, and weekends were filled with obligations, leaving her alone often.
