The author expresses a sense of self-doubt about discussing a complex topic, comparing themselves to a warrior without a weapon. They recall the encouragement of Narmad, a Gujarati writer, who inspired them to press on with their endeavor. The author then references a humorous incident involving Indian Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, who translated a Hindi couplet into English during a budget speech, causing laughter in the assembly due to its awkward phrasing. The author aims to connect this anecdote to their own exploration of conversation, drawing on a lesson from an English textbook titled "Yateo's Gift," which teaches that a small gift can be meaningful if given with love. They relate this idea to the notion that a little knowledge can also be impactful if presented well. The narrative then shifts to a personal experience from 1982, when the author was transitioning their family business from handloom weaving to the automobile industry. They recount a visit from Mr. Subeer Benerjee, the District Manager of Firestone Tire Company, who, despite the company’s usual policy against accepting invitations, graciously accepted a lunch invitation from the author’s family. This gesture of hospitality highlights the importance of personal connections in business.

Description
I am neither an expert of studies on conversation nor a counselor of how to speak with individuals or address an audience. I have pity on myself why I try to put a big morsel in my small mouth by choosing a profound and scientific topic for my today’s post! I question to myself, “How dare you (Mr. Author) put on an Armour without having a sword in hand?” But, I am prepared for ‘Come what may!’ I recall Narmad, the brave (a Gujarati man of letters) with his call ‘Go forward and victory is there waiting for you.’ *
