The next morning, Jhaver and his wife visit the healer, who examines the boil and expresses concern about its dangerous condition. Despite the alarming diagnosis, Jhaver shows courage, but the healer warns that he will need to demonstrate even more bravery, as there is no simple treatment available. When asked what can be done, the healer instructs Jhaver to cauterize the boil with a red-hot iron rod, which shocks him due to its brutality. The healer insists that this is the only way to treat the boil, leaving Jhaver in a state of disbelief and concern for his child's well-being.
