In the story titled "ACID ATTACK," we meet Shilpa, a girl from Medinipure studying in Kolkata. She is in a dark room, struggling with her thoughts and attempting to harm herself with a blade. Just as she is about to do so, her cousin Rina arrives at her hostel to congratulate her on passing her exams. Despite Rina's cheerful demeanor and concern, Shilpa pretends to be happy and fine, hiding her true feelings. Rina, knowing Shilpa well, senses something is wrong and insists on understanding what is troubling her. The scene captures Shilpa's inner turmoil and the supportive yet probing nature of their relationship.
