In the high ridges of Kate Parvat, a small village lay nestled among the snow-capped peaks and dense forests. In this village lived Rishi, the last descendant of Jitu Batwandi. His house was made of mud and wood, with a small courtyard where a tulsi plant grew. The villagers followed the old traditions passed down through generations, performing morning prayers, offering flowers and incense, and telling tales of the mountains and spirits that protected the land.
