The Mysterious Train to Shantipur

It was a foggy evening at Kolkata’s Howrah station when Arjun, a young journalist, boarded the Shantipur Express. His editor had sent him to cover a festival in the remote village of Shantipur, a place known for its mysterious legends. The train was oddly empty, except for a few scattered passengers.   An old man with a long white beard sat across from him, puffing a beedi and reading an ancient-looking book. Next to him, a chubby boy munched loudly on samosas. The old man glanced at Arjun. “First time to Shantipur?”   “Yes. Covering the festival for my newspaper,”
